Jay Sean steals the show at the UK Asian Music Awards 2010

R'n'B superstar Jay Sean, who shot to No 1 in the US Billboard Hot 100 with his single 'Down', stole the show at the UK Asian Music Awards 2010 held at the Royal Festival Hall, London on 11 March 2010. Jay won all four of his nominations to pick up the Best Male, Best Album, Best Video and Best Urban act awards and has since becoming the highest selling British artist in America since Elton John.

Jay Sean, US Billboard Hot 100 Chart Topper, releases his second single

Jay Sean releases his second single 'Do You Remember' feat Sean Paul and Lil John on 3rd November 2009.

Jay Sean (28), the first British Asian artist to top the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart with his first release 'Down', has released the second single from his forthcoming US album 'All or Nothing'. The single, entitled 'Do You Remember' features Sean Paul and Lil John and is launched via iTunes on 3rd November 2009.

Jaz Dhami's debut album, out 24 July 2009

Jaz Dhami unleashed his eagerly awaited debut album, entitled simply 'Jaz Dhami', on 24 July 24 2009. Featuring the summer smash hit Theke Wali and the Bhangra pop sensation Roj Miliye, the album provides ample evidence of Jaz’s varied and creative output mixing together sounds of bhangra, Hindi and classical music in a concoction which is mellifluously fruitful in its delivery.

Jay Sean's 'Down' takes over the American airwaves

After securing a milestone record deal with the giant American hip hop label Cash Money Records, Jay Sean has been working on new tracks for the US release of his hit album ‘My Own Way’ with some of the biggest names in urban music, inlcuding artists Birdman and Lil Wayne. 'My Own Way' is the second album by British R'n'B star Jay Sean. Mixing slick R'n'B, hip- hop and desi beats, this album picks up where 2004's debut 'Me Against Myself' left off. This is confident follow up and includes the singles 'Ride It' and 'Maybe'. It was recorded in New York and uses the production talents of J-Remy and Duro.
