Trupti Patel becomes first woman President of a National Hindu Organisation in the UK Mrs Trupti Patel has become the first Hindu woman to be appointed President of the largest national UK Hindu organisation - The Hindu Forum of Britain [HFB]. A civil engineering graduate, Trupti Patel is a fellow of the Chartered Intuition of Highways and Transportation and has over 34 years of experience in the field. Nineteen years ago, Ranu felt inspired to bring Hindu children together by setting up a Saturday school.
