The Gujarati section has recipes from Handvo to Methi Dhokla to the traditional Fada Ni Khichadi to Trirangi Bhat to Mango Parfait to Badam Katli.

The Maharashtrian section has recipes ranging from Pitla and Bhakri to Bharli Vangi and from Thali Peeth to the traditional Puran Poli.

The North Indian section has the popular Punjabi Chole, to the not so common Moghlai Vegetable barbecue. From the traditional Palak Paneer to the ubiquitous Sarson Ka Saag and from Phirni to Navaratna Rabri.

The South Indian section has everybody’s hot favourites – steamed Idlis, Dosas to Masala Dosa dumplings to Bisi Bele Huliyanna and many more.

The Rajasthani section ranges from the conventional Dal Bati to the sweet and luscious Malpua.

About Asha Khatau

Asha Khatau is a well-known figure in the field of gourmet vegetarian cooking. After 20 years of experience in providing memorable meals to her family and friends, Asha was eventually persuaded to start her own cooking classes about three years ago, which she runs under the name of Epicure. These classes feature regional cuisines from all over the world. She has also conducted several demonstrations worldwide for which she gets and overwhelming response.

Asha has travelled extensively, and during her travels she makes it a point to visit local restaurants and bazaars to get authentic tastes and ingredients, which in turn impart original flavours to her recipes.

Apart from running her cooking classes Asha is sincerely into fitness. She works out regularly at home. She is a busy housewife and mother to her three children as well as attending her husband’s office. Asha comes from a Hindu joint family with traditional values. She has done a BA in Psychology and is also a Sanskrit scholar. She took up Chinese watercolour painting a few years also and is an accomplished artist.
